300ex shock bushings

Ok today my 300 starting making this really annoying knocking sound, like when i'd pull a wheelie and let it down it would make a loud noise i found its the bottom shock bushing it has a ton of play in it, BUT i can't find anyplace that sells replacements...:confused: i see them for the 400's but not for the 300s and then on service honda on the parts diagrams they don't sell just the bushings, what gives? lol mabye a reason to upgrade to some new shocks:macho (haha and if they can be replaced, mabye its still time to just get new ones:blah

I've got no problem getting front shock bushings for my brothers 300ex at my dealer, and in most mags:huh

just wrap the bushing in some electrical tape and grease it up and jam it back in, good as new

Mine wore out too. so being that I'm in shop for machining i just made me a set:devil

what i always do is pull out the bushing take a stick welder and make 3 beads down the bushing ...space them out evenly it doesnt matter if the beads look pretty or not...then take a grinder and smooth them down a little at a time until they will fit back into the shock...nice an tight
