400 ex jetting

i have a 400ex stock now but i have a curtis sparks x6 system and a uni filter to put on,stock lid on the air box. where should i start with my jetting i know that everyone seems to be going up 1 size on the pilot even with a totaly stock motor and i have heard that the stock needle works good so i was thinking 1 size up on the pilot 1 clip richer on the needle but 1 or 2 on the main ?

your guess is as good as mine, read the instructions off the k&n power kit and go from there, elevation and temprature affect these thing to.

2-up on the main should be fine,put knew plug in ride it for about a half hour, run it hard for a while & do a plug check....... ;)

Yea that should do it, I'd go to a 42 pilot also.
