Today I went of a jump my friend and I made, on the last jump I landed a little steep. My friend told me he saw a little blue smoke come my muffler as i landed. So I stoped and checked the oil and it was fine and it didn't smoke at all when I rode around after. I change the oil every 3 rides and the bike only has @50 hours on it. Is this normal? :huh

some oil prob just splashed into the combustion chamber, i would worry about it unless it gets to be an ongoing problem.

i dont think its possible for oil to "splash" into the combustion chamber...i take it that he kinda nosedived it on the landing so you probably was wide open in mid air trying to get the front end up i would say? if thats the case then u probably have a little ring blowby and turning those high rpms made the puff of smoke

being in the desert and all, ive seen mine do that when it got real hot. i was pulling a guy on a toboggan arround the sand. i would rev it, when i let off there was a bit of smoke. no problems since then. like was said before, prolly just high revs with no load on the eng. i wouldnt worry about it.
