well i'm pretty sure the 8 plate setups that sparks and what not offer use 250 fibers but use thinner 300ex steal plates to make up the difference..could be wrong.. I'd say call up hinson..

what if i used the 250r friction plates and the 400 steels??

what if i used the 250r friction plates and the 400 steels?? yes that will work, the fibers are identical except for the 250r has just a little less gap between the friction nubs, actually giving you a little more friction surface. as for the steels the 250r and 300ex are thinner and won't work.
