Rear Shock ?????

k guys, how much sag should you have. i think i have a bit more than i would like. to fix this i have to tighten the screw at the top of the shock right? do you need any special tool? how you guys do it?

actually if you have too much sag you might want to adjust the spring. turning the screw wont make it sit higher

Did you buy your quad used, like someone may have adjusted it before you? Where is it located now? On my girlfriend's 400EX, the rear shock was really stiff, even for me (and I'm not a small guy) so I had to soften it up.

You can adjust it by moving the nut that the spring rests against. Making the spring shorter will stiffen it up, allowing the spring to get longer will make it softer. Where is it located right now?
