The owner was pretty cool! He let me take a bunch of pics and even told me what he liked and didn't like about the quad. The thing that bugged him about it a little was the stock airbox. It was designed too low, and they had to but a 2" bumper on the rear shock to keep the swingarm from hitting it. He's going to remove the airbox and go with a direct mount filter and pitch the bumper so he can have more suspension travel.

Those are very trick quads...kinda a modern day 250r. Id have one if I had the money, very nice. :D

it does look rusty. I woudnt think it would be made out of steel though. I saw a barely used one on ebay for 5k. If i had the money it would be mine.

those bike are sweet :eek2: are the stcok shock's dual rates????? :D

retail is 7695 on the 300 2-stroke
8295 (approx) on the 450 efi 4-stroke

Dual rated fully adjustable fronts. Early models had rear shocks as fronts. Lastest models went to normal style long travel fronts (still dual rated fully adjustable)

Rear is a single rated fully adjustable shock.

Yes the spindles are rusty. I think it is do to the salt water from being imported from spain.

4 ply 21 x 7 x 10 razors on douglas .190's (front)

was that at oregon dunes? how was it performing?

also, i see he was running 10 paddle haulers...
i'm planning on getting a GG 300 in the very near future, and i will run either scat track haulers or extreme grips... which one will suit it better? and how many blades/paddles should i run?

Yes, it was taken at the Oregon Dunes last week (Florence south jetty first parking lot). It ran pretty good, but didn't seem to keep up with the Banshees. The guy was very cool and knew a lot about his quad.

As far as paddles, Skat Trak Haulers are my choice. The number of paddles depends on the sand and the type of quad you purchase. 4 stroke quads generally dont need more than 9 paddles for a 20" tire (add one paddle for powder dry sand, subtract one for wet, coarse sand). Two strokes generally have at least two more paddles than 4 strokes.

The music is flash, and for everything I use an HTML generator.

I saw one of those at Florence a few weeks ago. They're pretty neat looking. Nobody else in my group realized what it was until I stopped to tell them about it. :D A dealer in town here always has one or two sitting out in front of his shop. I drool on my way by everytime.

I got it at Iowa City Motorsports. They are right off 218 and Hwy 6. I paid about $7700 out the door. I do know that he has one more 300 in the back. ;)

I can't wait to hit the trails up in Wisconsin with it, and the Little Sahara this fall. :D
