I ditched the parking brake and now i want to get a new perch and lever. What kind should i get? I have heard of people putting on cr levers/perch but what kind or what year fits? I have had it for 2 years of riding, should the cable be replaced also? Thanks for any help.

i think any cr will work... i have a cr500s on mine and it works fine... my friends is a 80s i think bc its alot smaller then mine and it reminds me of what my old one looked like on my old bike so i am guessin any years will work... and any size will work...

I would go with the FMF adjustable on the fly lever and perch. It really nice you can adjust the clutch any time even when you are riding. It has a little clicker on it to adjust your clutch and it is esay to pull to It cost like $89 bucks though.

I just got the PEP clutch for christmas. It says in the directions that it is a stock cr250 lever with a modified perch.
