Down to 18 in. tamers with 2 1/2 in. spacers in the rear. This puts ya 1 in. lower and 5 in. wider !:D

I would think you would still be sitting at a rake or angle. My buddy had the same lowering kit in the front and had the rear lowered too and it sat barely level with the rear cranked all the way down.......................tell me how it goes after ya try it

Sounds like a pretty cool idea. I'd like to try flat track racing sometime, but o well I'll just stick with my dreams of racing mx.

You could get some 8 inch rims and buy some lawn tractor tires and see how much lower they make it.

18 inch rear tires won't lower it as much as you think they will. If you seriously want to lower your quad I would either get the rear lowering kit, or the strut bar that goes in the shock linkage, or if it was me what I would do is get a zps rear shock and lower it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA you got a front end lowering kit hahahaha down here we drag race and we dont use the "front end lowering kits" we used STRUTS which are better and cheaper all they are is a peice of square metal tubing bars its kinda dificult to explain cuz u have to have a small peice on top and a long peice on bottom for the bottom cuz u know that the width of the shock holes are different on top and bottom

Well these are mainly for flat track and TT................you still use your shocks in TT unlike going straight and not using your shocks in drag..................

You should probaby get a swaybar too.

Well I see that you got the Dura Blue lowering kit. $29 is cheap, I paid $100 for both the front and rear lowering kits. I would recommend getting the rear kit. It lowers the rear farther than 8 inch rims. If you are going to flat track, a sway-bar is a must. If you can't find one for a reasonable price you can make your own. Let me know and I can send you some pics and measurements of mine.
Good luck you will enjoy flat tracking, I sure did! :D

Do you have access to a welder? I have some pic's that I sent to Leo, I will try to find them and send them to you. It is not that hard, it just takes time. I will measure mine up and send them with the pics.

I've seen these on banshees down here & 400s. seem to work good. Dont you have to drill an extra hole in the shock mount on the frame?
