well i found a good deal on a pair of shocks
the problem is they are for a 400ex and i have a z400, i was woundering if they would fit?

isnt the only diff the bushings if anything anyway, i would think you would be able to change those out if you absolutely needed to:huh

How good of a deal are you getting? You may want to buy them and then they can be rebuilt for a 400ex I think.

yeah they should bolt right on. fronts are ok but the rear is differnet on a z

not so fast! they will bolt us yes but they will way really soft on your Z. i know this because i was gonna sell my works to a kid with a Z and when we bolted them up they were ultra soft. i wouldn't have taken them over a big jump cuz they woulda bottomed out really easy. one more thing, Z shocks will NOT bolt up to the EX.

Why they soft for? Are the mounts located that much different? Lets see...they are "softer" so I guess the mounts on the Z are set lower than those on the 400ex? Just wonderin. :p
