I got the Carrillo rod today. This thing is a piece of art. The design is awsome (I-Beam). It will take more than EX power to destroy this connecting rod. Left is the Carrillo right is stock.

I just got a call from my friend that has the word for word engine mods as me, except the stroker, and he said he sent his piston, rod, and an intake valve out through the side of the head in glamis...

I guess he broke a valve, it went down and hooked the piston, and then broke his hot rods rod off and it all went out through the side...

That`s going to be an expensive repair bill.

[CORRECTION] It didnt break a valve, they think it sucked a valve. Which I think means that the valve springs werent strong enough and it shoved the valve up through the retainer and the retainer broke off, then when the piston went down it sucked the valve into the combustion chamber so when the piston came up stuff was in there that shouldnt have been.

I havent seen the bike, but my dad did and he said there is literally a hole...

Hott440ex, I think it`s time to get the Carrillo rod. You don`t want a hole in your motor. Don`t all of these engine problems have you a little worried?

no matter what rod you have, i dont think its going to last though a valve in the combustion chamber on top of the piston...lol. I'm still trying to find a pic of the hot rods rod...
