Jetting and Cam Question

my first question is what size of jet to put in my 400ex with my new yoshi full system pipe.

Also, i was thinking about putting a different cam and high compression piston on the stock bore in but the mechanic said it would be around 500. I am on a tight budget after i got my pipe and was wondering if it is worth 500 bucks and if the gain was very noticable.

you can do the cam and piston for under 300 or you should be able to do the work yourself get a manual and pay attention to it

What altitude are you rising at?

do u have to rejett for a cam? i dont think you do because i dont see how it effects air flow... but just a question
