ok i am currently running a 160 main and a 40 pilot wit the mods listed below and when i first hit the gas it seems to bog out just a little bit. the temp is 25 to 30 when i ride it and its only started to do this latly when its been this cold... i use to ride it in 60 and it ran fine. should i rejet it or live wit it till it warms up bc its not that bad it just bogs alittle bit... can i just turn the air screw to help me out some...
Your only running a 160? with the stock carb? i was running a 160 with a slip on and a k&n filter...jump to a 170 main and see what happens...

At 700' above sea level with ported 440 I run 178 main ,42 pilot, 2.5 turns out 3rd clip open airbox stock air filter no choke plate on stock carb with a full DMC at 40°+. 180 main with K&N outerwear. They are all different. Colder weather will require larger jets.
With an FCR, a fully ported and polished 440 that was recently stroked, and larger intake valves, im running a 200 main right now, and its an average of 40 right now

Step up to a 42pj and 162mj and see how it runs.
Have you moved the clip on the needle, or is it in the stock position?
