MD Off-road Motorcycle Registration

Does anyone look at the AMA District 7 website (www.amadistrict7.com (http://www.amadistrict7.com)), and have they noticed a link for LEGISLATION ALERT - OFF Road Motorcycle Registration (http://www.amadistrict7.com/ex/D-7%20Legislative%20Alert%2031.doc), which basically talks about having to registers your off-road vehicle (bike or quad). Does anyone know anything about this?

Is there anything we can do to try and NOT pass this Senate Bill 561?

The reason I post it in this forum is that they are saying that we get nothing out of paying this registration (no public riding area)? Where is the money going then?

I am getting tired of these maryland laws. The cops came by last week when I had the speed running and asked me to turn it off. I told them I did not call them and they had no right to just come into my back yard... Then I told them they could come back when they had somone patrol the area and slow everyone down. They did not like that much but eventually left.....Today there was a bike cop right in front of my house handing out tickets like it was nothing. Everytime i looked he was just a givin:D

To bad my motor is out or I would have had to fire it up for him...
