Me and my son went to our first harescramble this weekend.... we didn't let him ride yet, but he is chompin at the bit to go next time. Had a great time still, met a neighbor who raced first time. Got tons of pics and video. Off the bike start was a new one to me, but kinda cool.

I think they should let a truckload of rabbits out on the track, and you chase 'em on your ATV.... now that would be a "hare scramble".

It was in Westphalia....outside of Jeff City. We're in Wentzville, so only about a 2 hr drive. Where r u, down 55?

It was a blast, but a whole lot of carnage.... 4 bikes now missing a wheel, 1 broke a swingarm, lots of missing plastic, 1 guy rode 2 laps without a seat or back plastic (and placed 4th overall).

Dude, i wish i knew you were there, i was in 4 stroke c, too bad you didnt get any pics of me. We didnt have the digital cam saturday.:( , it was a fun race:p All i lost was a tail light and 3 bolts. I live in Kansas City by the way, about 3 hours from Jeff city for me.:blah

Toby - Thought you might be there since you posted before about another mo harescramble, but I forgot to post about going last week. Remind me again what your bike looks like, I've got more pics and videos, but didn't want to post all of them. My boy was wearing his exriders shirt....se him??? We were parked right under a tree where the course cut behind the pits.

I only got there with enough time to take a lap then get to the line , even with a bad spot to start. I think everyone passed me once i got to the bottle neck cuz i was on the outside. Heres a pic of my quad,the big carry tube thing should single me out right quick when you are looking for me. Not too mention my ugly arse shock covers:rolleyes:

any pics of a stock yellow z400? I was in red/black oneal gear with a black and silver helmet.

Pretty rough trails - I saw 1 skid plate laying on the trail and 2 other bikes stopped with skid plates hanging off. Bent both sides of my new prm swingarm skid - not sure I want to tear up my bike in these races, but it was alot of fun, and I met some really nice people.

Toby - do you still have the stock bumper up front? Only found one that might be you.... out of 90 pics and didn't catch you, bummer. Of course I was trying to keep track of 2 kids, and do a repair every other lap on my neighbors bike (flipped the bike and had a flat) :D

The one in Kahoka? I'd like to go, but have to see what the wife says, the one in St. Gen is a little closer, plus there is a TT in Belleville on the 26th I wouldn't mind goin to. With an anniversary and wife's bday comin up I'm gonna have to do a TON of butt kissin.

I live in Ste. Genevieve, Mo. I seen in another post you mentioned Ste. Gen. I didnt think anybody knew or heard of this little hick town! :p I live about 5 minutes from the Moto park.

So what do you know about the track (in Bloomsdale??).... are you going to the tt there on the 20th?

What do you want to know about the track? Yes its in Bloomsdale, (Ste. Genevieve County). I will be there for sure. Dont know if I will be running though. My DS is way to tall for TT and my Warrior is not in running condition.

Here is a crappy website they have. Its way outdated. The track has been totally redone. Ste. Gen Motopark (http://www.stegenevievemissouri.com/stegenmotopark/)
