gas leaking out of carb

i have a 400ex and i do alot of wheeleies and when i do gas come out of the carborator threw a tube onto my swing arm skid plate. my dads doesent leak gas when he does wheelies and im loosing miles when i trail ride so i need to stop this. i have a 165 main jet from dyno jet. thanks for the help

mine leaks gas when i just shake it by the bars, i know this isnt right, maybe someone can help:(

it will leak gas when you wheelie that tube that goes by the swingarm is called the overflow its supposed to do that dont worry about it

it will usally leak gas anytime that it is not sitting level

mine leaks a bit more than it should, just shaking it a bit by the bars, my bro's 2003 doesnt leak near as much as mine:mad: :mad: :mad:

bring your float down some, sound like your fuel level is higher than your if you got a manual it shows you how to adjust it and tells you where it should be, rip yours out somtime and measure it, it pretty easy to do, i think you need a set of dial calipers, don't remember for sure

They all leak when you wheelie. its no big deal, and its not really enough that you will notice a difference in miles. if you want to ride longer buy an IMS 4.5 gal tank!! lol

my dad has a 400ex with same mods and definently gets better gas millage then me when we ride. his leaks very minimal and mine leaks out alot. i'll read up on the float bowl in my manual thanks for the help

Seems like a simple solution to me. If you want better milage, keep all four wheels on the ground.:rolleyes:
