How durable is the ceramic coating? Is it comparable to powdercoating?

Well when it come to doing exhaust nothing beats it in looks, performance and durability. But it is a hard coating unlike powder coating which is flexable. He sent me some foot pegs off the same bike which are the springe loaded ones. I could have coated the springs but the first time the pegs fliped up it would have cracked the coating on the springs, so I PCed them in Black instead. It is a lot easier to deal with powder coating than it is with the ceramic, because when it is through bakeing it is a chalky white whch has to be removed with steel whool than sanded and than polished. That swing arm was a nightmare, I don't think I will ever do anything like that in the ceramic again. I had a run in the coating on one the pegs which I didn't see untill I had baked it, so it had to be reblast and recoatit. When I first blasted the parts it only to like 15 minute to do the foot peg. After I had coated it and found the run, It took 3 hours to get all of the coating of. Now that is some tough crap. I had actually thought about doing my frame in it, but now, NOT ON YOUR LIFE.

I'll be waiting on it. I had a guy that came by today that wanted a 350 chevy block PCed and his block hugger headers ceramic coated.

I also have to put a motor in my truck so of coarse everything that I can do will be ethier PCed or ceramic coated.
I'll try and get pics of those, before and after also.

Thanks for the compliments.
