its a toss up i dont know if they cool better i had 60.00 (cost of them) i like the way they looked so i got them and when i got after market plastic i doo know they support the plastic better

i got mine from a moto shop by my house bo's radical racer to be exact but you can order them from about anyone there are some people that make them here at the site you would have to do a search to find out who.

tinner is the one who makes them on the site. got them for my 250x they are sweet

omf's look the coolest out of all the air scoops i thik cause they are not just square they have a design to them. and well if they work im sure they do.

i got mine from jl atv but im going to be selling mine as soon as i get them back and buying tinners

i hvae a set of OMF air scoops, i ont realy know if they are helping suypport the fenders better or not, i do bleieve they cool the engine better, but one thing i am gonna complain about them, they are breaking my fenders, on the very op part where they mount, its pulling the plastic bracket away form the plastic itself and on one side it cracked, but other than that there great

omf! thier to direct more air towards the motor and oil cooler but mostly for looks i think i like mine i got andonized red

only reason i dont like tinners is i dont see any function, there not up high enough to direct any air to the oil cooler only the motor

I ordered the tinners and sent them to pappy to be powder coated for less $$ than the red omf's the omf scoops run about $80 plus shipping

Where is pappy located at and what does he charge to powder coat things. and does he Gusset the frame to?? what was the cost of the Scoops and the powder coat together?

Go with Tinner's. Let's face it, our air-cooled motors and oil coolers get enough air over them where they sit now. Air scoops of any make do very little actual cooling. They're more for looks. Buy a set of Tinner's scoops. They're about half the price and Tinner has been hooking us up with great deals for a long time now. Let's continue to support the people who have been loyal to us.

If you look at my scoops they actually do aim into the engine and cooler, and you don't have to mount them to the fenders and stiffen them making them more prone to breaking. The scoops are $38.00 + shipping, make sure to include your zip code for a faster response on the total. They will last through all kinds of abuse.
