need help please!!!

k, i installed a pro circuit slip on pipe on my 400ex. it came with a 160 main jet and a 55 pilot. i installed it with jets. however, when i try to start the quad it makes a static sound and back fires???? i also turned the air fuel mix 1.5 turns. should i go down in jet sizes??? i also put holes in the air box lid with stock filter.

The pilot jet is too large go down to a 42.

That pilot is way too large for it. Go to a 42.

do i have to adjust the air fuel mix.? or do i have to adjust the needle jet? and if i do how many clips out or in? and where is that needle jet located? is it behind that brass plate?
