I decided today to blow the stickers off the sides of the '89 toyota. I know, I know, it will never match because of the faded paint. But they were cracking and peeling anyway.
So my question to all of you is this: What is the fastest way to get the sticker goo off of the paint so I can get busy with the buffer?

rub lightly with a solvent. I use diesel or kero. Gojo may work too.

I work at a detailer shop and we just use plastic razor blades and a heat gun, than if that doesn't work we use paint thinner really lightly. It isnt that hard just keep trying she'll come off.

I did the same thing a few years ago on mine and you are going to rub your fingernail's off and I used Gas to get the left over glue off. It will take a while but I think it is worth it!

Thanks for all the replies. I'm getting it. I resorted to an old standby. MEK, and a plastic scraper. I got one side almost finished and ran out of MEK. So I'll get some more at lunch tomorrow, and finish it. Then I just have to cut the paint and buff it out.
