Skid Plate Rattle

I have a DG skid plate that wont stop rattling. As you know it doesn't mount real clean. I have taken it off, and put it back on without success. Any ideas or tricks to get it to fit securely. Thanks.

Pull off your skid buy some double sided sticky tape put the tape on your frame rails put your skid back on and presto..... no more noies :macho

You can also run a bead of silicone down the frame rail.

i rubber cemented strips of gasket material were ever the frame touched the skids and i havent heard any noises since i put tht one ( 1 yr. ago )

mine had the same problem i just put it on there and used one zip tie because i lost one of the mounts and i dont even notic the rattling anymore

If they are bolted on are the bols tight. Use lock tight as well.

silicone works the best!
