looky what i got. but first no bashing i dont want to hear none of this( you should have got a (insert brand here) and dont say lift it because it is a 2wd. i plan on lowering just the front either 2 or 3 inches and geting lower profile eagle 1s. i am going to keep the stock rims because there are not much like them.

so here is the info about the truck. It is a 2001 dodge dakota motorsports special edition(1 out of around 1100) club cab. it is 2wd, 3.9l v-6, power locks, windows, mirrors, cruise tilt wheel, cd player and casset player, ac, and sliding rear window. when i got it it only had 17560 miles and i got 3000 miles of free gas.
i like it it is alittle beter on gas then a v-8 but not much, and i dont realy need 4x4 because if i had 4x4 i would beat the living daylight out of my truck.

the rims are aluminum and are pced black from the factory. along with the red color schem nad the goodyear eagle 1s is what the motorsports edition is they were only made in 2001 when dodge brought back their nascar cars.

bump
i guess you have been to maine before, haha.
well i wanted a 4x4 but they wer either to expensive or shot. and my dad has a 4x4 tundra v-8 so i either use that or my 300ex or trx300 4x4 when i need to go off-road.

Why would you lower just the front...wouldn't that make it kinda stinkbug...just wondering why not lower all the way around if that's the look you're into

i would lower on the front end because that is the look the 2wd trucks around where i live. the front end low but the rear end stock hight. and it also cost less. i would have to get some pics of the other tucks i am talking about. and also if i would lower it all the way around i would get stuck all the time in the winter. and all the lowering kits out there are either 2/4 or 3/4 or 3/5 or 3/6 and i would not want to lower the rear more then the front. because when i haul stuff in the back of my truck the rear end might hit the ground on the many bumps on the roads in maine.

I like the black and red scheme

You lower the front with springs and steering knuckles or however they do it...then put airbags in the back so you can control both height and load capacity when hauling stuff around. Obviously that would be more expensive but you could have the best of both worlds.

yeah i really like the black and red scheme also that was one of the reasons i bought it, ihad looked at about 10 trucks that day and this was the best deal , the lowest miles, the best price, and i got 3000 miles of free gas. ridered86 i live in the st, john valley, in the aroostok county in a small town next to fort kent and madawska. i live about one mile from canada. i can see canada from my front yard.
pdunes that is what i was thinking of doing but wait until i am out of college for the air bags

peice of advice dont buy a cannon multipass f30 3 in 0ne scaner copier and printer, it has not printed for the past 3 months, we had the comuter guy come and look at it and it prints for him but as soon as he leaves it wont print, and as you can tell it does not scann good, i probaly just have to play around with the resulotion but i dont know how to. :( i am kinda not the best with computers, but i have no complants about the scopier part of it. man i thought we were going to save some money buy getting a 3 in 1 but it does not work worth chit.

i prefered chevy over dodge because my mom has a 96 chrysler minivan, the first year of the new style and we had to replace the transmision twice but the is mainly because she is truely a women driver, but on her van other then that it is still runing strong woth over 110,000 miles on it. but when i say this truck i was like man even though it is a dodge look how sweet it is and it drives good also so that was a plus.
i make it just fine in 2wd up here in maine, i just use my dads tundra when it is stormy outside, it is not that bad on the roads if you have good studed tires and a couple of 5 gallon pails of sand over the rear axle. heck my brother has made it through some pretty bad storms in his little 4cyl. 2wd ranger. but i live right next to the state garage so when there is a storm there is a state plow truck that goes by preety often to keep the roads clean around my house .

this is one of the big plow trucks they took out this winter after we got 3 feet of snow in 2 days.
