i need an answer to this question very soon. when i bought my quad off of a kid i never got the title to it. There is a guy in pennsylvania that wants to buy my quad but he needs the title to register it. cis there anyway i can get a copy of the title???? thanks

find out where he bought it from maybe the dealer has a copy ?

Use a bill of sale. It should work.

Take the VIN number to a notary. They can tell u if its ever been titled. If it has, they can make sure its never been reported stolen, and they can tell u who the last title-holder was. Then u have to track that person down to get it transferred. If its never been titled, u can get one right there at the notary. I live in PA, and I have had to do this before, so it should work for u. Hope this helps.

i found out that it was titled so now i am going to bring the bill of sale to the place he bought it and i will now be able to get a duplicate title. im so glad this worked!!!! thanx guys

I had the same problem when I bought my 400ex. I bought it from a guy in MD, and he only had a bill of sale. When I went to register it in AZ, I had to provide the bill of sale from the man I bought it from, and the bill of sale from the guy he bought it from. All I can say is try to get as much legal paperwork as possible before you go to register it. I had to have 2 different bills of sale before they'd register my bike. You might also have to do a tech inspection so make sure your bike is up to par.
