I've removed the front light and ignition switch from my 2001 300ex, but now the battery is getting drained within 2 to 4 hours. Also, now my tether switch doesn't kill my engine. Can someone help? Thanks.

..you removed the ignition switch? the key switch?....why'd you do that?
what...did you unhook the switch from the wire's, then hook the 2 wire's together?
..well..your battery is drained becouse your "key" is always on.
either put the switch back in, or unhook the wire's everytime you park it...or you could shop aroud and find a toggle switch to put in it's place.

if you removed the switch becouse you removed your handybar plastic, and don't have a place to put it key,..get a 1" paddel drill bit and make a hole in your plastic. then make 2 more hole for the neutral/reverse lights....
make sure you have enugh room behind the plastic so the key will fit all the way in without hitting the tank or anything.

can't help you with the tether switch.
