I was washing the quad last night and I noticed that the left front tire has a lot more caster than the right. (top in). I have looked at the ball joints and the spindle, and cant seem to find anything obvious. the joints are tight and the hub is too. so what did I bend?

Well, if you can find a race on a circle track and convince them to go counterclockwise, you should be allright.

my 02 came from the shop like that brand new,it turned out to be a semi-blown front shock.

"Top in" is camber (negative). I assume you probably meant to write camber. In that case a "semi-blown shock" as nojoke4stroke mentioned would be a likely cause. If I were you I would measure with an angle finder to be sure. It could be just the way the ground sloped or the handlebars were turned slightly,or you might just be paranoid.

ther might be to much toe-in on that side to and it might just appear to have too much negative camber??

I did mean camber, must have been tired last night.
It isnt the ground slope as the quad is in the garage. And when compared with a level, there is more than a half a bubble difference between the two sides.

Rico as far as the Toe, I jsut replaced a slightly bent tierod on the other side three weeks ago and did an alignment. I have about a 1/8th inch toe in total.

Looks like I will be looking into new shocks.

Thanks fellers:bandit:

I bent an upper a-arm a while back right in the crease where the ball joint is and my tire was towed in at the top. Just a thought! :D

my 300s one wheel used to be like that. check the a-arm balljoint mine was shot and giving me a 1 inch negitive camber.
