PCing a PC'd frame

This probably sounds stupid but can you pc brackets that were added to a pc'd frame without completely re-doing the whole frame? I recently picked up a crf450 and want to take the motor out. My motor builder told me to just put it in my current stock frame, but I just had it pc'd. I imagine that the crf motor has quite a few different motor mounts and they would need to be welded into the stock frame. I just don't want to have all my money go out the window from the original pc job. Any info would be great.

It can be done ..but its not the best way ..one of problems could be overcure or getting a good ground the second time around
kinda depends on how skilled or experienced the powdercoater is
