Ok, I just got a Dyno Jet kit, it is a stage1 and 2 kit, the issue I am having is which jet specs and size do I use? Is it stage one or two, I have bolt on mods no internal motor work, it will be in warm weather and i ride at about 1500 feet above sea level, any suggestions, the kit says dj170 but that sounds big

a dj 170 is fine, I have a t 4 slip on k&n opened air box and I use a dj170. fyi make sure its tight! you cant do harm by going big, but running to lean can damage your motor!! so start big and if it bogs are sputters its to rich , then go to the next size smaller!

yeah, that annoys me when i im trouble shooting with people that dont use dynojets. Im using a 146 with the clip on the third groove , air screw 3 turns out and the airbox lid on.

They detail this in their instruction guide:

Stage 1: stock airbox lid remains on. (no holes in the lid) the stock foam filter or a K&N may be used. Usually an aftermarket freeflow exhaust pipe is the only addition.

Stage 2: airbox mods with holes or the lid removed. Free flow air filter added as well the pipe above.

It's adjusted for air flow so are you pulling the lid or not? If you use the stock or a UNI filter don't go up as high as the K&N come back 1 main size to start.
