We decided totake advantage of the weather today and took the kids out for a few hours,nothing big,just putting around for the most part.. I havent been out to this local riding spot since the end of last summer and its closer than the place we usually ride... I havent got to ride in weeks! I think Im gonna like my 400ex.:blah heres a pic of me onthe Predator,no riding pics of me today, i may get some on Fri..;)

Its not bad for something local,I am so spoiled on sand though.. :o Its got some good climbing and some really good jumps for the dirt bikes, I would have liked to go back and hit some of the trails towards the back end,but its tough to do when trying to keep an eye on the wee ones...:) Ill try and get an ariel pic next time so you can all see it better its actually pretty good sized...

I thought I would add a few more pics of this wk ends riding... We went to the local dunes, and went to a spot in Emmett Idaho we havent been to in a long time(not exacly my kind of place to ride,too damn nuts for me:confused2 )lol....anyhow was a very nice day for riding at dunes today was a little on the cold side,We had anticipated going to a new place we havent rode yet called Clays Peak,but when we got there, they had closed off the track for some races so we didnt get to try it out, we were bummed,cause when you first pull up to the track, this is what you see.....:eek:

THis is Kelsey BEFORE she ROLLED her quad for the first time that day. Time another set of new bars and a few minor adj. Thank god she didnt get hurtShe got right back on and rode the rest fo the day:) :D

QJ... Looks like ya'll had some fun. Josh and I are heading to the track this Saturday. Hopefully, we will get some pics of us riding there.

Wow! great pics. You guys are lucky. We do not have dunes/open areas like that on the east coast, or none that I know of. We do have lots more quad races and such. I feel a road trip coming on! :)

Yeah, it has tons of sand. There is actually hills like that all over the place at the riding area. You would not beleive the hills that are there:eek2: :eek2: There are some that are mountains. This is a pic I found on the net of one of the hills. This really doesnt do it justice. There are hills that are about 3 times the size of this. Someimes 250's wont even make it up. It takes a cr500or kx500 with an extended swingarm to make it up or a yzf/crf. Its amazing to be at the top and look down some of these hills. I have some pics but dont have a scanner otherwise I would post them. Sorry, just babblin on.

The road in the back of this pic is the road to get to places to park. Its a really bumpy ride in sometimes.
