i'm spiting after it is a little warm....... any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hey guys. my 300ex is on a fresh motor. the motor is strong and i put a dial a jet on it. now after i ride about 300yards and then let off and get back into it or ever if i do get into it and it doesn't sputter it will after i go a little ways at that amount of throttle. I"m not much on my carb. do i need to rejet? how about the piolt jet?? I almost got it broke in and don't want to sell it like this. thanks for any suggestions.

i honestly dont know anything about the dial-a-jet, but yes i would believe that your jetting is off, check the main jet, your air filter is dirty, or your air mixture screw is not correctly adjusted.

if it is sputtering i would say it is running rich. when u rev it does it puff black smoke?, cause if it does than thats the problem right there.

well i might just try re ajusting the dial a jet but i don't ever see the black smoke.

sounds rich to me. I dont know about dial a jets but how ever it works you need to bring it leaner one notch or click!
