Ok I may be getting a whitebrothers R4. And I was wondering how everybody liked theres. Also does it give good power gains and how does it sound?And if anybody has any pics of theres on there 400ex could you please post it.

i have no complaints my quad rips like a raped ape plus not to mention i think the r-4 is one of the purtiest sounding exhausts out there, specially without the spark arrestor but it's just my personal opinion:D

R-4 kicks asp! It wake the bike up, and sounds sweet, I like it better than the E series, get the R you wont be dissapointed.

If you want to save a little bit of money, the Pro-circuit t-4 is the same thing.

Ok one other thing, is this a really loud loud pipe. Or is it like about the same as an e-series.

A friend of mine has an R4 on his xr400 dirt bike and it sounds awesome, and yes it is loud. It probably sounds the same on a 400ex. I have the e-series on my 400ex and his is louder than mine.

imo,r-4 is one of the best sounding pipes out there...it is reallly smooth.kinda loud but the niceness of it makes up for it.like it sounds really nice and is not an annoyingly loud sound,more of a smooth rumble

i love my r-4.awsome power gains and it looks great.it is pretty loud with out the spark arrestor.a freind of mine with a raptor has one also and he had some awsome gains aswell.

a t4 is alot quieter, and i think soundfs better, i have had a e series and the r and now the t4 and i like the t4 best , regardless what dyno test show
