black EX

I was thinking of puting black fenders on my bike ( probably just paint , car paint is got and very flexible) and a red frame I wood like some pictures if anyone has some. I want to leave the light on it for night rides but pictures with no lights is fine to.

Thats what I wondered but the guy that I got it from insisted that it was fullbore ?? I got another 400ex used and stripped the parts off it. So I dunno thats what he said? When he told me it was I always thought that the fullbore had the scoops and the shaved fenders? Even if they arent fullbore it doesnt matter to me I basically got them for free.

I wouldnt suggest black fenders,they scratch pretty easy

yeah they do scratch easy, but if you think about it all plastic does. This plastic is almost a year old, and it only has scratches where your boots rub. But then Again I think he babied his plastic. I would rather get good looking plastic then some crappy colors. I wanna get some pink ones, and pretend I am Bubba.
The only colors I really do like is the dark blue and the Black.
I can see where your getting with getting scratched up easy, but if you take care of it, it will stay looking nice. The other 2000 plastic I have looks brand new. I rode it pretty hard too. But whatever floats your boat.

thanks str8wicked, if the headlight is your concern. i have seen the fullbore with aftermarked lights (beam type) mounted under where the fenders would be. it looks pretty good.
