Why don't you call lonestar and ask them. I'm sure they know.

Also let me know how you like it after it's finished... I've been wanting a chrome +4 for my 400...

I don't have there phone number or I would.I know a couple of people on here has a +4 so figured they would be able to tell me.
But I will tell you how it all works out whenever I can find the right length for my chain.

When I went with a +4 swingarm on my R I wasn't sure how many links I would need either. I just got a 120 link DID chain and cut it down to the right length. The 120 is the same price or less than the cut to length ones. I think it was like $65 for mine (520 x-ring). Stock R length is 96 and I think when it was cut to length it was like 108 links.

Thanks, 108 is what I come up with I have extra links already if i need them but I was trying to find one that was the right size so I wouldn't have to take apart links and re-assemble the chain.I can fix almost anything on my EX but for some reason I get so mad when I have to work on a chain I feel like I could chew through the thing.

Thanks

Thanks

If you can do that I think you need to switch to a better chain brand :p
It's nice to be able to order the right size, but I figured that since I didn't know exactly how long I needed it, and wasn't sure yet on what sprockets I was going to use (which can mandate 1 more or 1 less link) I'd be better off going too long and cutting off what I didn't need. I didn't want to have more than 1 master link. Kinda anal about how my quad looks :D

Yeah I know what you're saying but I was hoping to find an exact fit.I figured someone here with the same setup would tell me how many links they used. How many links are on a stock 400ex chain?

Do you use a chain breaker? I dont see how your having troubles. The chain is my last worry when i put my swing arma nd motor back in this weekend.

Well when you only weigh 125lbs its kinda hard to keep the front down when you're climbing a hill that looks like a wall.I'm not no hardcore MX rider so the only thing I really do is trail ride and a few AMA Hillclimbs so yes I will please tell you again I put a +4 Swingarm on my EX.

I dont remember. I got that expensive Sidewinder Ti-Moly chain and the sprockets at the same time. They just sent me 120 links. I dont remember how many of them I cut off.

Outlaw,

Thats cool I knew what you meant. But I run in an AMA Hillclimb and it is very steep so I got the +4 to keep me from flipping it and I run in a few local drag races so it will also help me keep the front end on the ground.
