Hey guys, whats up? Well in the next day or two im finally getting my quad, but it has a flat... they guy said he can get it fixed but after closer inspection i'll be needing new ones soon anyway. the tires are dry rotted a little, has small cracks in different spots. I'll be able to make it around for a little bit like that, but as soon as i can im buying new ones. So what is a good site to buy them? and what is the best tires for mudding? I don't want the serious mudders where they are fat and stuff though. Just ones that are good all around. But im going to be doing a lot of mud riding.

was the best I found, but it's $8 to get them mounted around here. So I spent an extra $10 and bought them locally and they put them on for free. :D

All around trails, I would recommend Razrs or Holeshot XCRs! They both hook awesome IMO! :D

i think stock rims are 10 inches and you should get realators they can be run as normal tires and can be flipped and run as mud, sand, snow tires they are sweet and i would get a pair if they came in 18 s but they dont but i recomend them

I'm running 20's w/ no probs, but most XC racers run 22's for the added clearance. Just what you prefer. If you do alot of rough trails I would get 6 ply though, whatever tire you get! :D

Stock 400ex rears are 9" diameter. I'm thinking of Kenda Klaws for myself. Much less $$ than ITP and Maxxis and getting good reviews.

im kind of eyeballing them GBC Dirt Devils... but i still don't understand how the sizing is on this website... 22x11x9 would this be 22in total diamiter, 11in width, and 9in internal diamiter (rim size)?

YEP! You got it right! As far as tire size goes, the last number is most important. 9" diameter for stock rims.
I'm not so sure about your choice of tire for a sport quad though. But if you're doing alot of mudding maybe they'll be ok. If you go with that that tire and/or size, you might want to consider a sprocket change. Smaller front or larger rear.

thats the kind of feedback i want, you opinions on stuff, see im going to be doing EVERYTHING on this quad, jumping, flat land riding, mudding, everything. I just want an all around tire that wont wear really bad on asphault either! Your opininons please!

If you are doing alot different riding than i'd definatly consider another tire than the Dirt Devil.
Granted, I have NO experience with them but looking at the tread pattern, i'd go elsewhere.

gsx-rider, dirt-devils are awesome my friend just put a set of the 22x11(i think)x9's on his z-400..... i never ride behind him if i dont' have to they really dig and throw some crap, i have razr's on my bike and i've gotten stuck in holes that he has went right through i would reccomend them, and they aren't a rough ride either, when i ride his bike i can't even tell he has "muddin" tires on it, good tires:macho
