Haven't seen the performance for a Z250 but if it's nething like it's big brother it'll be pretty awesome. My Blaster I have now would prolly beat the pant's off any 250ex,but here's how I'd prolly place each of them in different types of ridin:

Drag race: Blaster, Z250, 250ex
Trails:Blaster, 250ex, Z250
Open Field:Blaster, 250ex, Z250

drag race you got right, trails everything stock is wrong, blasters are tippy when not modified at all. it owuld be 250ex, and i dont even kno anything at all about the z250.

On the website I was looking at for a friend it said the Z250 had almost 9" of ground clearance! :eek2: Seems like that would suck! The 250EX is a great machine! :D

If you're stuck with it for a while the blaster will have more mod potential and I like a clutch. From what I hear the Z will be pretty much like a 250ex power wise and everything. Not 100% though. I would go with the blaster. I think you would have more fun on it and it will make you much more prepared for a larger bike later than the two manual tranny quads.
