i now have some 22 inch chevron tires on the back of my 250x
i was wondering if going to a smaller tire would mess up my acceleration or my top end speed? i do alot of woods riding but mostly in the dry dirt {hot ,dry wheather in kansas} i was also wondering what tires would be best i was looking at 20" with 9"rims:huh

if you are not riding mud & rocks........22" tires are too tall in my opinion. Try 20" turf tamers. Thank me later.

Yes putting smaller tires will change your acceleration and top speed. The acceleration will be quicker, because you are gearing it down so you will have more torque. Along with that since it is gearing it down you will lose top end speed.
20-10-9's is a good all around size for trail riding. I have hole shot's they work great in the mud and snow heck everything I have threw at it. :devil
