you wont find a mud tire in 20 inchs because you want ground clearance you can get a couple of tires in 21 inch but about 95% of your mud tires come in 22-25 inch The realtors are nice tires but very heavy but you can go anywere with them. I have a set of itp spider tracs and love them they chew through anything.

get some 589's. nah just joking. spidertracs would be good. but it would be hard to get a 20 in mud. why would you want mud tires for your 400ex. only if you mud bog around.

i had a set of Maxxis All traks on my warrior and i would stand by them! i could keep up with my buddies and their 4X4's ..one buddy has set front and rear on his 4X4 and the only time he got stuck was when he went into this crator im not sure if there is even a bottom to it and we think there still might be a quad down in there. Razors are also a nice woods/ mud tire works for the Gncc pro's and even the Holeshots xct's are nice.

you cant get a good set of mud tires that are light but my vote is for blackwaters 22x12.5x9.theyre actually 23's because the lugs are so deep.i ran them through fall winter and spring of last year and they were the best mudders ive ever had.they wear extra long due to the super hard compound of the rubber on the riding surface too.spider tracs are good but they wear kinda quick.

I would have to say the Blackwaters or Kenda Knarly's. I use 20x11x9 Knarly's when we ride in the mud and I've yet to get stuck! You can still use them for all other styles of riding. Plus the Kenda is cheaper than the Blackwaters. JMO!!

Personally, I like the looks and size of the 20" Blackwaters too. A friend of mine swears by 22" Super Swampers as the best 2wd mud tire.
I never bought a mud tire for mine, because I haven,t felt a need to run anything except my holeshot XC's. Are mud tires really that much better?

For the mud yeah. Mud tires are better. But not for MX. I love the Blackwaters go with those. I will post a pic of them on my quad later

I'm not sure on the sixes but I saw in Rocky MT. mag the new "mud lite's guessing thuoghs are pretty "lite"?I have relators, they work fine, I like the stockers much more though because of the weight and size. just my preferance.-darren

Why are they not as good for MX? Never ran Blackwaters, just curious.

they are a bit heavy being they are a mud tire and have a really hard compound and are a little rough to ride on a track, they like to get sideways but a little too sideways due to the horizontal lug pattern.to answer your previous question, mud tires are important in winter and spring because they have a really spaced out self cleaning pattern where the holeshots and razrs and similar tires dont and will load-up fast in tacky mud and snow.

Have a pair of qbc 21" Mud-Sharks mounted on ITP 190's. Used them this winter for some snow.

Mud sharks are very similar to Blackwaters (flat profile) but lighter.

$150.00 Shipped.... rims like new, tires about 90% :)

i like my mudskarks....got stuck twice, only because my quad got stuck on a log. other then that they have not let me down. my holeshots would not let me go thru anything.

Gators are definitely the best, one of the lightest mud tires and will go through anything:devil

I tell ya heavy, u sure like gators. Next winter might give em a try, just cause you are so convincing! but only if they are no larger than 22" Weight and height steal too much power. Would be nice to have em in 20 - 21"
