well...i just came home from ridin over @ our local homemade track.
and i noticed when you come out of the berms...it is really bumby...and i was Just wonderin what do all of u gusy USe to build a track....(loaders?? w/e) pix of it too would be nice...
if i had the land i would build 1...and this summer...we are gettin a John Deere Skid Steer hopfully!!:)

we use a backhoe, its bump coming out of the corner cuz thats where everyone lays on the throttle and chew it up, goin in it gets rough from braking and there called braking bumps

NICE Dozer!!
we had a dozer come over and help move the dirt.
ya the Bumps are when u are leavin the BErm.........really bad.....what if u fix it...by addin dirt and really packed it for a day....then would it hold...

i dont know, its good to run em down every now and then but its not like your gonna go to a race and run on a totally smooth track

yeah.........a dozer can be rented for about 1200 per week depending on the mobilization costs. then you need to add fuel costs, insurance, and an operator. I normally charge 85 per hour for a dozer w/operator.

I just got my first paying job building a dirt bike track last week. we cleared about 3 acres and built jumps for a father & son race team. total cost for them was $1500.00. I'll get pics of the track as soon as it quits raining around here.

for my track we had a dumptruck bring dirt tand then we used a bobcat and shovels
