charging system test

How can I check my charging system on my 400ex I have a dead battery on my bike it seems to be charging battery just isnt holding a charge anyone got any suggestions what type battery do youll recommend Its the stock one on it now and it is about 2 yrs old should I just get another one of them.

take it to your local honda shop and i am pretty sure that they will charge it up for you and i think for free but im not sure

just get a "trickle charger " and let it charge your battery for like 24-48hrs and it will last a long time ..and your local shop should be able to tell you if it is charging ti properly or not


and i've herd that if your battery is completly dead or really close then your factory charging system won't re-charge it.. don't know why but just what i herd.... good luck
