Does anybody race their 250. I race mine and all i hav is ITP holeshots Xc all around. But before my next race i am gettin nerfs and a bumper and i may get a Procircut T4. I don't want to put to much $ in it cause i amy get a Z by the end of the summer. O and for you guys that have pipes how should i run my air box since i am racing Xc i really need a lid, but will that not work or just give me some suggestions. :cool:

i just took off the tires and shocks, masked everthing off and painted them like that. they look great for them still being on when i painted them.

Thanks for all the compliments on my ride that CowsBitePeople posted for me. It is not much, but it is more than most people think it is. I got a few 'he!! yeahs' from some dudes riding 400''s this weekend as well. I am afraid I am going to brake my ride...I run'r a lil to hard sometimes I guess! I am glad to see so many sweet 250's on here. I am sick of gettin ripped on for having a 250. I love mine and even when I get a faster quad, i'm still gonna keep my 250 cause it kicks @ss! I would put pics on, but mine is a brand new 2003 and i haven't done much to it yet besides AC nerfs, an armadillo bumper, a dyno jet kit and a White Bros e-series slip-on. I am open for any suggestions on the greatest mods to add.

web cams sells cams, a good set of maxxis razrs are really helpfull. some shaved plastics help. ive heard of a 28mm carb at bikebandits.com. theres alot of great stuff for the 250. yeah and if anyone rips on the 250. just try to show em up in the woods. i get alot of crap from my buddies. oh well thats why they have junk blasters or no quads at all. hahaha

i dunno be a close race, my stock kx 80 couldnt beat my 300 stock, i mean a cr could prolly if my 300 was stock. with my 330 a stock 400 can barely touch it

Pics that arent on your computer or on film??If you have the film stripps thing from a camera that has been developed i think you can go to a place like 1 hour photo or something and ask them to put them on a disc or floppy....If you have them on your computer then send them to my email i can helf you out....If you have any questions ask me ill try to help you out as much as i can....

his dad is a machinist(sp) and he did it at his work and put a wisco piston in it

my friend put a cr 80 motor in a trax 90, it was awesome, he sold it for around 3000, you could cut endless do nuts on pavement haha

Nah... I am just glad to see so many ideas in here.;) [/B] I used the kit from Powroll, and total cost was around $700.00, and I will still say it is impossible to make a 250ex engine into a 270cc. The clearence just isnt there to be able to do that. The only way I would believe that is to see a pic of the cylinder with a dial caliper across the top measuring the inside diameter.
