Anybody know the cheapest place to by a cylinder for a 400ex I am tired of messing with this 440 big bore kit it's been a pain in the arse, pulled studs, sleeve out of round and slipped in the bore. What kit would be better, stock hi compression,416 or what?

Trade someone your cylinder for a stock one. That is what I did when I went to my 463. You should be able to trade it and some cash. :devil

nevermind 225 from service honda plus you would have to get it bored for a 416...

see if you can find a stock size cylinder on ebay. then just get it bored and then sell yours or get it resleeved

Putting a stock cylinder in a jug that has been bored to accept the 440 sleeve will not work. The jug has been machined to fit the larger sleeve. Other wise I have a stock sleeve I would give up. ;)
