WI Riders

hey i'm from star prairie, wisconsin. it's around new richmond and osceola. polk county, western wisconsin. just wondering if there are any wisconsin riders around this area or in minnesota within an hours drive. we have plenty of trails out here to find and explore, a track in milltown, and this summer i'll have a track set up in the woods behind my house, it should be a decent sized one. i have a '02 shee, my friend has a stock '94 blaster, and my other friend has an '89 blaster with black maier plastics, fmf fatty pipe and fmf powercoreII silencer.

im about 1-2 hours from you. i know of almost 8 people that would go and then some
330 nationals 250r
ds650 tricked out
3-4 400ex's (1 stock)
my 250x
3 banshees (1 stock, 1 real modded, 1 barely touched)
240 blaster

a few more too. the guy with the 250r has a 44ft race trailor with living quarters so we will come in a parade just about

thex1992, you should come visit my friend and i sometime. we can ride the trails and fields at his house or else head up to milltown and check out the track there. pm me if you want directions and a date that we can go riding.:cool:

DEFINETLY!! sounds like you guys have a crew! you could camp out at my house most likely if ya want. we can hook up on the old railroad bed and go for a long ways then head to some tracks around here.

that'd be a great weekend or full week trip in spring/summer. if i pull some strings with mike (330r) i could get doug gust to come up and some other guy i forget his name right now but he's 15th in the nation with a 450f

that would be awesome! we should set up a date for us to go riding, not this weekend because my friend and i will be at grantsburg on sunday morning. i think i'm going to be racing open b with my shee, but i don't know, i am probably not going to because my dad is pissed off at me. i kinda rolled my friend's 250ex and bent his axle, and he had to pay 1/3 of it. he wasn't too happy :( :devil

ya thats cool i got my engine back tonight so ill have it running by tomorrow for break in and tune up i still need a front sprocket! hehe. i just hope it doesnt break down on me again :eek2: let me know and ill talk to that guy soon

this weekend would be okay, like come over to flyin#5's house, like friday at 4pm, and stay there through saturday night or sunday morning, but i might be racing sunday morning and he is going to watch, so i don't know. for sure next weekend would be a good time. you and your buddies could come in your "parade" of quads with your trailer at 4pm (when i get home from school), and stay 'til sunday night. we could ride all weekend and ride around looking for tracks.

im in school right now but i got the wheeler on the trailor in the parking lot :blah

i guess a guy went out there and got it started, i havnt even gotten it started yet (up late fixing it and parents were sleeping so i couldnt rev it up)

but she runs great. i just need to find/buy a front sprocket and take a link out of my chain and make my tire not go flat (take about half a day so ill use some slime).

im might be going to elk mound tomorrow with a few people (banshee and 440ex) since the weather is going to be nice so next weekend or the following weekend proably saturday we could do this. the guy with the 250r works m-f til 10pm. and im stuck at school but i can always be *sick* and come up.

ill keep ya updated after i break it in to make sure she's still runnin right. do you have race fuel up there? i need b-32 or turbo blue otherwise i can bring a few cans.

we have a gas station pretty close with 114 octane would that work? otherwise we dont have any race fuel just a half a bottle of octane boost...

!!! i just rememered, we have that monday off too! FOUR DAY WEEKEND. theX1992, you are going to be "sick" friday and monday, k? yes! 4 day weekend of riding quads. flyin#5 and i will look around for some tracks. give us a call sometime, we're in school right now too:blah Companion Animals class, we're "looking up" stuff on cats, lol. i get home at 4 and am usually up 'til late at night, so feel free to give me a call. and flyin#5 gets home at around 3:45.

:( i didn't get to race at grantsburg today because it was my dad's b-day, and my mom wanted me to be home. also it's palm sunday so we have to go to church as a family:confused2 right now i'm all dressed up and clean instead of in racing gear and dirty:mad: did anyone else plan on racing at grantsburg today? or going to watch?

happy easter everyone...easter sucks, so boring, plus it's really wet outside so i can't go riding on my 'shee because i'll tear up my yard and my dad will rip my head off. i'm really stuff now...i got a new bike today, it's a KZ 400. old street bike from the early 80's, 400cc twin four stroke. just have to clean out the carbs and get a new battery and it should be running again :devil .

got the KZ400 running and took it out for a ride :D, handles pretty nice, needs a little more work on the carbs though, plus the front brakes don't work, oh well, who needs 'em?:blah anyone up for milltown this weekend?? saturday or sunday works for me

dan and i went up to milltown today (saturday), it was pretty cool, mike i think they built up the jumps a lot more since you and tyler were there, i got some major air off of the tabletop, got some major roost too, i think the dirtbikers were mad at me when i covered them with dirt, it was awesome:D danny didn't jump much, just the tabletop, which he did pretty good on, got some good air too. maybe when he's 70 he'll be a pro;) , nah probably never, lol

Hey there is actually a track in lake geneva. I have never been there, but I talked to the lady that owns it. They mostly cater to dirtbikes, but said if we could get enough quads together, we could ride it.

But anyway, where do you normally ride? I live near fox lake and am only about 45 minutes from you.

Yeah, I think I know what you're talking about, it's at lake geneva raceway. All of the jumps are WAY to big for a quad. Plus, quads don't get any respect there and all of the dirt bikers there are *********s.

I just was searching for wisconsin and this came up! Im in Chippewa right now at my brothers house! He lives on the big hill on harding street. I live in Rice Lake and have a 2000 blaster. Not many people on the internet from northern wisconsin. I'm only fourteen but if anybody knows where to ride around here or around Stone Lake let me know.

whats up. my and flyin#3-1/2 live pretty close to each other and have some good places to ride. hayward has a really nice place for riding up there. we have a cabin up there and i have gone for hours on trails and have never been close to going on all of them.

I was ridin not too far away from you guys last weekend in clark co. trouble is it takes me 3 hours just to get that far. flipped the 400ex for the first time too, opps. :D
