i cant decide if it is pointless for me to blow 200 bucks more on elkas when i could buy works all i do is ride maybe 4 times a month on trails and open fields and do very little jumpin.

i was just wondering if works would work good for me? or if i should go ahead and buy the elkas. i know if i races i would want elkas but i dont.

just buy the works if your not racing the works will work better alot differnt than your stocks but if you were to race adn i think i would go for the extra 200 and just buy the eklas but thats me

if your not racing then there really isnt a point to getting top of the line shocks.

the elkas are worth the extra money, but if your not looking for proformance I would go with the cheaper option and get works. for $200 you could those new tires you had you eye on. :blah

Elka's are much better then Works. Bigger Shaft, SSD, Compression Adjust, and the reasons could go on forever...

i kinda doubt it will make a difference to you between the two:o , since it will be such a better shock than stock either way, it prolly wont matter.:bandit:

IMO,n get the works. I've got a set of Elka fronts for motocross, and a set of works i bought second hand because they were cheap. I actually like the works better than my elkas. They seem more fluid and plush. My elkas don't work on the trails at all either, but they're set up for MX. I really like my works, the pro series. But this is JMO.

ELka!. they are worth it. Machined bodies instead of cast, They have higher quality springs i think they use eibach, 5/8 shaft, and many more options including the elites with hi/lo comp adjust and titanium coated shafts. The earlyier elkas were setup a little squirly so don't buy used ones. Now they got the setup figured. And they will be getting even better with time.

if the guys telling you the truth then yea i'd say they are good. Anything in the last year really. But that surprisses me someone would order them from splash n dirt when they can order them directly from elka. the two places are pretty close. o well. So nacs400ex. I'l see you at this weekends race??

Nope,I havent got them redone after I bought them. I have only had them for about 2 weeks tops. I was just talking to Yann about how much it would cost to get it set to my weight and stuff.

Forum, Yes I will be at the races, but I wont be racing:( I am gunna be my friends little pit person. He races 125beginner. But I will stop at your trailer.. Timo was saying its all black with a big nacs sticker?
