hey Nick i also have 400ex race plastic and i plan on putting a hood scoop on it too. Are you sure a 250R Hood will fit on it? B/c i had one from Feather carbon and it didnt fit. I would go with a Quad Tech or Fibe Industries. Fibe's hoods are durable and they are sick lookin plus they are also pretty cheap. what color hood scoop you wanna go with your yellow plastic?

I HAVE A FEATHER CARBON HOOD FOR A 250R AND IT WON'T FIT A EX WITH STOCK OR MAIER PLASTICS! BELIEVE ME, I'VE TRIED BOTH! ANYONE GOT ANY TIPS?
