Rear Sprocket Question??

I just recently went form 20's in the rear to 18 inch tires in the rear, and i find now that when i'am going in 5th gear and i pin it , it will hit the rev limiter way quicker than it did with the 20 inch tires, I was told that if i drop down to a 36 tooth rear sprocket, that it will fix the problem that i'am haveing, what do you guys think that i should do??

yes go to a 36 tooth...that is the same situation i was in

The 36 out back will help alot..that's what i use when running 18's..
