Sprokets

i wanna know who makes the longest lasting chain and sprokets. i go thru about 3-4 sprokets and 2-3 chains a year. i run steel sprokets from sproket specialist and a x-ring chain but they are worn out "again" i need some help cause this is gettign expencive. i do mostly hard core cross country racing. with lots of mud water and dirt.

I run Sunstars with a D. I. D. X-ring chain on all my ATV's. They last forever for me. You might want to look into Sidewinder. They have stainless, and some kinda titanium sprockets that last forever. The only down side is they cost almost 3 times as much as the other manufacturers. My 2000 400ex still has the factory chain and sprockets on it. They are still in great shape. Good luck.

do you race your 2000 400ex. my stock chain started wear very bad after about 3 XC races. but i just wrote it off to the cost of racing? who sells sidewinder sprokets. I have the DID x-ring too and its lasted longer than other but its time has come too.
