How much does it cost to chrome the side cases? or should i just polish it? and who does chroming thanks

I just got done looking to that same thing,polishing is going to be way cheaper,depending on the quality local shops around here charge anywhere from 200.00 to 380.00 to chrome each side case but you can get them polished for about a third of that.

Polish them....if done right it will look just as good and it won't chip like chrome...polish is the way to go :macho

50 bucks a side....i'll get you some pics up...most people want 75-90....i'm doing my 300ex side cases as we speak...

i polish cases for 60 bucks total, thats 30 bucks a case

you dont HAVE to use a compound, but on things like cases i defintaly would, just mothers wont cut it for something as big as a case, but me, i use paint stripper first to strip the cases, then it depends if theres big scratches, little ones, on what grit i use, if theres gouges i use my dremel with grinding wheel and smooth it off then use a soft wheel(im not sure what it is) and it mkaes it realy smooth, then i sand down with 400 grit, the 600, but if the cases jus need stripped i strip them. 600 grit and move onto polishing
