View Full Version : What size big bore should i get?

i just got a 2001 300ex and i want to put a big bore kit in it...like a 350 or 400 kit....how much would that cost me to get? hopefully getting it soon......:devil

What kind of riding do you plan on doing? 330 kits are the most popular.

all kinds of riding....like racing, hillclimbing, etc. how much power and speed would i gain from a 330 kit...looking at a 352 kit from powroll.....thanx....what is four stroke techs website?

With a 350 kit or whatever, you will most likley need to stroke it also. I wouldn't go that big unless you have some extra money lying around (If you have to stroke it). I would just settle with the 330 kit.

You'll gain power everywhere with a 330. That is if you do cam, pipe, intake the whole nine yards etc... I have the 330 kit in my X and I love it. For what you say you're going to do a 330 will do just fine. I ride MX with mine and have yet to be short on power.

dont mind him.. he is stuck on on wanting to own anything over 600cc's... all he talks about in these kinda threads is "where is my xr600 or i am going to go buy a kfx"
