anybody got an ac swingarm skid and how is it.i am sponsered by them and can get it for a pretty good price but idk if i should go all out and buy a prm.i heard about the ac being kinda junky but do you thing its worth it.i dont wanna say my price since it is confidential but ill tell you that it is more than 15-20 bucks cheaper than the prm...is it worth it to buy the prm or just go with an ac...thanks...... all i know is that everyone says prm is the best so whats your take on it

I have an AC skid and haven't had any problems with it. Prm is better if you are going to race but for trail riding ac is fine.

For those that bent yours what version did you have? AC's standard skids are very light duty...their not meant to take a beating like an XC race gives you (or anything along those lines). Thats why they make the heavy duty version, these are capable of taking a beating...

well i think an ac will be fine since im buying it just incase i scrape something.i wont be racing xc or blazing crazy trails...just some mx and pit riding....not much things to hit but id rather be safe

my brothers ac skid on his 400ex is complete chit, when he got it only 3/4 holes lined up and it didnt come with a wear strip and it bent pretty bad the first ride. I love my prm, i doubt i will have to replace it for a few seasons.:devil

I have a AC bumper, nerf bars, chassis skid plate, and swingarm skid plate. I like all of them but my AC swingarm skid plates welds are all cracking and it got bent up on the right side a little and my disk was hitting a little bit. Its better than stock but they should make them a little better because I guess quite a few people have had the swingarm skid plate not line up right. My AC bumper didnt line up but I pushed on it enough and stuck the bolts in the holes and got it on there.
