I just got my new Elka Tripple Rate front shocks with ssd, zps, and i still have the stock rear shock, i was just wondering if i should do anything to my rear shock like soften it up or make it stiffer, i really don't have the money to get it revalved right now, so if anybody has a solution on what i should do, that would be sweet
thanks greg mcneil

I was going to get the same fronts. CD Racing (advertised on here) was going to rebuild my rear shock with Elka components and the SSD springs. You'd want to have the SSD on the rear as well so the quad sags equally front and rear. Call em up. I ended up going the economy route with Works fronts.

I had Elka's with SSD on the front and a stock rear for about a month with no problems. The front sat lower, but it didn't really cause any problems. I just adjusted my rear to make it feel better and it was ok. Then I got the Elka rebuild for the rear...

Yeah thats what i plan on doing, is to set the rear up, the best as i can to those front shocks, and then when i get the money gathered up i will get an elka rebuild for the rear.
yeah the front does sit lower for sure, but i kinda like the look of it right now.

My rear rebuild was $300 and I think the price is still around $300 from C&D...
