street legal quads...

does anyone know if this can be done? i think it would be sweet. if anyones a cop or something, what do u have to do to te quad?

i read in dirtwheels i think that a guy is selling kits to do this... anyone ever do anything like this? is it even possible?

You cant just make a quad street legal. Its all about the laws where you live. I am pretty sure that wisconson or one of those states has some places where they are street legal. And i know you need to meet decelaration requirements and things like that. Also working brake light has to be visible from a certian distance and the same with your headlights. And possible a DOT approved tire. Such as some radials. Or i think hoosier has some.

And insurance registration. But yeah it can be done as long as its legal where you live
