Well....I decided to use the "donor" motor out of the new Cannibal I picked up last week. This seemed like the best route for me for this season, since the temptation of a brand new fresh motor for the 03 MX season was just too good to pass up.

Total time was 4 hours to tear down the new quad, pull the motor and install it into my race quad. Not record time, but quick enough for me to make sure that everything was done right.

I took it out for a couple hours of riding Saturday and it was running great, benefit of a new motor I guess...lol I am running the Moto/Speed map and full HMF exhaust. I will have to say that this map seems to pull your arms out of their sockets from 3rd gear on. I am no lightweight at 240lbs, and I raced a lightweight on a piped Raptor and was happy with the results.

The guy took me out of the hole, damn those stock Raptor tires hook up well; as I spun the Razrs for a bit, moving forward at what seemed like a "gradual" rate...lol The Raptor had about 3 quads on me out of the hole and as I hit 3rd gear I reeled him in pretty quick. What was even more interesting is how with stock gearing (13/42) I pulled him WAY hard on top. Overall, very happy with the map and setup.

I know I don't ride a Honda now....but I wanted to share some of the spoils with you guys since you have lived through the toils with me over the past months......JIM

I wrote them off, Trinity doesn't do business the way our sport deserves and I am done with them. :o

One of their shade tree mechanics put His head together and left some pretty important peices loose and it took a dump when Jim was "trying" to beat a honda;) . Sorry Jimbo had to say it buddy. Glad the dale did ok. But I like the silver plastic better:D .
